Connecting the end of Rua das Pedras to Praia da Armação is Orla Bardot, a seaside promenade named in honor of the French actress Brigitte Bardot, who put Búzios on the international map after visiting the fishing village in the 1960s.

🚶‍♀️ Walking along the Orla is an invitation to contemplation. The promenade is tree-lined, with benches, wooden decks, and iconic sculptures.
📍 The most famous sculpture is of Brigitte Bardot sitting on a bench with the sea in the background — one of the most photographed spots in town.

Other sculptures along the orla include the three fishermen, representing the village's tradition, and the former president Juscelino Kubitschek.
